Born in Taiwan, Wen-Ting Huang performed at the gala concert of Junior Original Composition Yamaha in Japan at the age of 9 and entered the University for Music and Performing Arts in Vienna, Austria at 15. She was honored with the National Excellence Award for Young Artistic Talents in Taiwan and received the scholarship from the Austrian Ministry of Science and Research. She entered Fischoff Chamber Music Competition and Concert Artists Guild International Competition and was the Prize Winner of the Clé d’Or Piano Competition, Chesapeake Chamber Music Competition. As the pianist of the Felici Piano Trio, Ms. Huang toured in California, Washington and Texas and performed as soloist in Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, France, Austria and Taiwan. Currently Ms. Huang is the Vice President of Music Teachers’ Association of California Hacienda Heights Branch and Chair of the Southern California Junior Bach Festival in Hacienda Heights Branch. She has served as adjudicator, juror and coach for MTAC’s Certificate of Merit, Junior Chamber Music, High Desert Music Teachers’ Association in Ridgecrest, Chamber Musicians of Northern California, Biola University, Indiana University and Chinese Culture University in Taipei. The students of Ms. Huang are winners of Southwestern Youth Music Festival, Glendale Piano Competition, Southern California Junior Bach Festival and Junior Chamber Music and are accepted into prestigious The Julliard School, University of Idaho as well as Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media. Ms. Huang received her Doctor of Music degree from Indiana University and her Master’s degree Magister Artium and Bachelor’s degree Diplom in Piano Performance from University for Music and Performing Arts in Vienna Austria – Universität für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Wien.
