PASADENA CITY COLLEGE FOUNDATION / PIANO FUNDS
Ticket sales from our events go to the PCC Foundation General Piano Fund. This fund in the past has granted tuition scholarships for piano students, funded guest piano master classes and artists in residence, sponsored "Working in Music Seminar: piano Alumni Speaks to Students," and helped finance students to compete in the 2012 International Competition for Piano Six/Eight Hands in Germany.
In addition, the PCC Foundation holds an endowed fund to maintain the 56 pianos at PCC. With the acquisition of 11 new Steinway grand pianos and 10 new Yamaha uprights in conjunction with the dedication of the new Center for the Arts, this endowment was created to ensure that these magnificent instruments maintain their quality.
